This page is dedicated to my life with Mark Rethke, my first true love, and the man I had planned to grow old with. Mark and I were together for 8.5 years, from May 30th, 1988, until he died of aids on March 19th, 1996.
Mark was an incredible man who taught me alot about life, he lived his with class, dignity, and an attitude like none I have ever seen before, and I doubt I'll ever see again.
Marks brother Todd lived with us for almost the entire 8.5 years we were together, and I loved Todd like he was my own brother. We built a family, a business, [Wings Over Minneapolis] and a very happy life together. We owned 2 homes, and we were rich in a way that most people never know, it wasn't a financial richness, but rather a spiritual richness. Mark was, is, and always will be missed.

These are just a few pictures of our [all to brief] life together, and some of the people that Mark loved most in this world. Below is the last picture ever taken of Mark, Todd [his brother] took this photo 3 hours before he died in my arms. This is the true face of aids, it is not a pretty picture.
